Fabulous experience . From Killow at the planning stage through to booking , helpful , patient , answered all our questions, provided links to key information about Visa , Health Care and Insurance. Then we met Palanjaro( Eli ) our driver guide - what a wonderful professional ,understanding , thoughtful individual- moreover what a wildlife and location experts. We saw absolutely everything and more , and learned so much about the individual wildlife , behaviours and how to spot them . This safari was the trip of a lifetime, and without this wonderful human we are sure we would have missed out. Additionally he went above and beyond given KLM didn’t transfer our luggage - he stepped to assist on emergency purchases and then 3 days later getting us reunited with our bags. Tanzania is an amazing country with so many individuals relying on tourism , so for the global companies like KLM to neglect their responsibilities here is a disgrace . We had the most fabulous Safari experience and totally recommend Tanzania Specialist - we also did 6 nights in Zanzibar - a fabulous remote beach location to recharge and reflect on the never to be forgotten days on Safari

Tanzania Safari Specialists have been an excellent company to deal with from beginning to end. Initially we dealt with Rogers Patel who took our booking inquiry and supplied us with ample links to videos and general information about Tanzania so that we could make the decision go with this company.. Rogers also supported our fragile mindset through the uncertainty of the unwise American attack on Iran. He supplied us with information, reassurance and flight options that would avoid the Middle East and ultimately ensured that we went ahead with the holiday of a lifetime with peace of mind. We made several adjustments to our holiday and he took them in his stride. Our decision to visit Tanzania in the shoulder months between low and high season had benefits and drawbacks in that at times we were either the only guests in some accommodations or one of a few guests. We certainly got excellent service from some of the happiest and friendliest people we have ever met on vacations anywhere in the world. The benefits of this side were we enjoyed Tanzania and its wildlife in a less frantic environment than high season would be. Our guide was David Rowland Massawe and he met us at Kilimanjaro Airport and throughout our pre-Safari and Safari elements of our trip was a model of friendly, helpful, supportive and informative positivity. My wife and I could not have asked for a better person to become our friend, our co-conspirator and wildlife spotter. In short, by the time we got to the Ngorongoro crater, we not only had spotted and photographed the big five, but we had four of the little five having seen their babies – all except for leopard. There were camps when my wife and I were alone and David ensured that we felt we were among friends at all times. At our first An’gata camp while the food was good we felt the portion size and type of food we were eating was on the budget side when compared to the prices we were paying. (We have to admit that we did not include this comment in our review form because the young staff at the camp tried their very best without a manager to lead them in sight). David however ensured that this was not a problem for any other camp. He always ensured that we got the best on offer. David’s game spotting was beyond belief at times and we both felt that we missed out on very few opportunities to see wildlife, both animals and birds. He made plans each day towards the end of the safari and along with the guides network online and on the radio ensured that all of our wildlife expectations were met. David’s driving skills were excellent as most of the roads and all of the game trails were very bumpy and tried at all times to minimise the effects for the folks in the back!! I would not hesitate to recommend David to friends and would ask for him if we return in the future. When we parted company on our way to Zanzibar, we missed his constant presence at our side. The Zanzibar part of the trip was handled by Destination Services and they provided a transfer to Marafiki Beach Hotel which we believe was the perfect resort to spend a week of relaxation after the 12 days of early mornings, bumpy game trails and high excitement. It has a beautiful beach, 2 swimming pools, a spa, awesomely friendly staff, delicious food (huge portions) and the sound of waves to fall asleep to at night. Once again because of the season it was a little quiet, but we didn’t mind as we were there to chill out. If you come on a trip and are heading to Zanzibar, ask for this hotel, you won’t regret it. We had a trip to Stonetown and a half day snorkelling and other than that we were cocooned in peace and tranquility. Tanzania Safari Specialists never let us down and we would highly recommend them to organise your trip for you with David Massawe as your guide and Marafiki Hotel as your Zanzibar option.

Variationen av vilda djur var helt enkelt hisnande: från enorma elefanthjordar till gnuer och zebror på migration, till lejon som matade, vi såg allt. Denna safari tillfredsställer definitivt din safariaptit! En absolut höjdpunkt var Ngorongoro-kratern. Även för erfarna safaribesökare är detta en syn du aldrig kommer att glömma. Kort sagt: Det var en perfekt 10 av 10, den här resan var helt enkelt fantastisk! Vi kommer definitivt att rekommendera den här resan till alla. Tack, Ally, för dessa oförglömliga stunder!

Die Organisation von Sofia war sehr gut. Sie ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und hat alles reserviert. Wir haben 8 Tage Privat Safari gemacht mit Mohamed. Er ist ein erfahrener Guide und konnte uns alle Tiere zeigen und wir bekamen viele Infos dazu. Die Camps und Lodges waren sehr schön. Das Personal immer sehr herzlich. Wir haben uns überall sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Unser Flug nach Sansibar und das Ressort für eine Woche und alle Transfers dazu gebucht. Habe nur die Flüge für hin und zurück selber gebucht. Hatten auch immer Sofia oder Bobby als Gästebetreuer erreichbar, falls etwas nicht klar war und Fragen auftauchten. Vielen Dank und wir können Tanzania Spezialist jedem weiter empfehlen. Magiskt! Vi hade en underbar upplevelse med Tanzania Specialist. Det är en stor byrå i Tanzania, vilket är lugnande och ger bättre priser. Vi åkte på en 5-dagars safari. Vår chaufför/guide, Mikael, var väldigt vänlig och respektfull både på vägen och i parkerna. Ett stort tack till honom. Tanzanias natur är otrolig; det är en upplevelse man måste ha minst en gång i livet! Boendet vi hade under safarin var mycket bra, ganska privat, och maten var utsökt. Vi åkte sedan till Zanzibar och njöt verkligen av lugnet på denna ö. Allt detta organiserades av Tanzania Specialist.
